David Williamson
- 1906. In this year there was a serious fire at Bathgate Academy (then located in Marjoribanks Street) and mention is made of men making their way to Livery Street prior to attending. This fire was attended by a steam engine from Edinburgh Fire Brigade which was a remarkable distance to cover in 1906.

- Bathgate Town Council owned a stable and engine house at 37-39 Livery Street according to 1905 valuation roll
Not marked on available maps August 2013, but Ace Exhausts currently occupy 37-39 Livery Street, so if street has not been renumbered, this would the location of the fire station |
